Analogisierung des Digitalen

Thesis • Creative Coding • Linoprint • Editorial Design

For my thesis project, I explored the creative coding library p5.js and generated graphics that I then printed using linocut. My goal was to investigate the contrasting experiences and emotions evoked by computer-generated visuals versus analogue prints.

The project allowed me to enjoy the unpredictability inherent in both printmaking and creative coding. I particularly appreciated combining the logical, structured thinking of programming with the hands-on, tactile nature of printmaking.

Additionally, working on the thesis gave me the opportunity to experiment with design layout without any constraints, allowing for an entirely creative and unrestricted approach.
